Iron Sharpens Iron

God never intended for men to walk through life alone. This year’s Men of Integrity theme, “Iron Sharpens Iron,” explores the value and necessity of godly friendships. Relationships built on honesty, encouragement, vulnerability, accountability, and a shared pursuit of Christ. Throughout the retreat, John Manley and Robbie England examine what genuine friendship looks like, the barriers that often keep men isolated, and practical ways to build deeper, lasting relationships. From the example of Jonathan strengthening David’s hand in God to the wisdom of Proverbs 27, men are challenged not simply to find good friends, but to be the kind of faithful, wise, sharpening friend they hope to have. The goal is to move beyond surface-level relationships and develop friendships where men can encourage one another, speak truth, walk through difficulty together, and ultimately help one another become the men God has called them to be.
